Protection of Personal Data – Private Policy of EIC

EIC can collect in various forms of personal data and information about the Users for storage and/or use in connection with such User. The data provided by the Users will be incorporated to an automated file owned by EIC, located at Calle Francisco Silvela, 42, Madrid (hereinafter “File”).

In each of the forms in which the personal data is collected, the User will receive detailed information about the treatment, purpose, use of their data, the mandatory or voluntary nature of their answers, the consequences of the refusal to provide them and, in general, all the mentions required by the legislation on protection of personal data.

The File Manager is committed to treating the personal data of the Users in accordance with what is stablished in the applicable regulations, and in particular:

(i) to treat confidentially all data of personal nature from the Users to which it has access to as a result of browsing in the Portal. However, the File Manager can reveal personal data and any other information concerning the User when required by public authorities on exercising the duties which are legitimately attributed and in accordance with applicable dispositions.

(ii) to adopt technical and organizational security measures necessary to prevent alteration, loss and unauthorized treatment or access to such data. Notwithstanding the foregoing, due to current security conditions in the Internet, the File Manager cannot guarantee the illicit use of User information by third parties. Consequently, EIC does not guarantee or assume any responsibility for damage or prejudices of any nature that may derive from the alteration, loss, treatment, non-authorized access, or the illegal use of the Information about Users by third parties. The User undertakes to keep the data provided to the File Manager duly updated. The User will be liable for damages and perjuries that EIC and/or third parties may suffer as a consequence of lack of veracity, inexactitude, and lack of validity and authenticity of the data provided.

The User will be able to, at any given time, exercise his/her right to access, rectify, cancel or oppose the handling of his/her personal data through notification sent to Escuela Internacional de Comunicación, Reputación y Asuntos Públicos, c/Francisco Silvela, 42, Madrid – 28028, or to  info@eicomunicacion.com.
